It's Raining, it's pouring, the country is crying Glory!
Pulled up to my school this morning with my mother, at about 7:30 this am (MST)... my mother was rushing me because I was running late, and so was she. But I just stared at something in utter disgrace... the flag. It's raining... and that is not an all weather flag. And according to the United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, states: "The flag should not be displayed on days when the weather is inclement, except when an all-weather flag is displayed." And there it was. Full on display. I got out.. Due to me already running late, I just went to my first class. When that class ended, my perfect chance to go to the Assistant Principal's office came. There was a new student, and the teacher asked if I could guide him to the Administration room in which he had to go to. So I did, and when I finished, I headed downstairs. However, the assistant principal was not there, but in a meeting, so I asked the secretary if I could leave a note, and that's what I did. Then I made my way to second period, and I left an email stating the United States Code as listed above. I cannot believe that I am the only patriot in this school that actually thinks that this school can turn for the better? It's not good. I just wish that things could turn for the better. But they're too focused on having a "good reputation." Ugh.
